Mission Statement
Allied Arts of Whatcom County is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation whose mission for over 30 years has been to sustain and enrich our community through the arts. This Sculpture Northwest website is just one of our many projects in support of these goals.
What We Do
- Raise awareness about our uniquely creative community.
- Our Education Project ensures our youth are learning to be creative citizens.
- Events that celebrate our arts community and encourage public participation.
- Our Councils ensure diverse voices are heard and facilitate community cultural planning.
- Maintain a gallery that displays the artwork of our community.
Support
Allied Arts of Whatcom County is an independent, not-for-profit corporation, not a county agency as the name may suggest. It is funded through member dues, proceeds from its fairs, corporate sponsorship, underwriting, contributions, and grants. info@sebastianbellingham.org
Allied Arts of Whatcom County appreciates the support it has received from agencies that believe in our mission and goals: In addition, Allied Arts of Whatcom County receives support from individual donors, groups and foundations. Volunteers play a major role in the success of Allied Arts of Whatcom County events, assisting behind the scenes to provide hospitality at our craft fairs, exhibitions and special activities.
